To educate the Whole Child means to use all available resources to maximize the achievement, skills, opportunities, and potential of each student by building upon his or her strengths and addressing his or her needs. The Whole Child approach prepares students to thrive in a democratic and diverse society and changing world as knowledgeable, creative, engaged citizens and lifelong learners. How can we shift current educational practices to ensure the education of the whole child?
